What is Home Health Care?
Home health care is help at home when you need it most. Our specially trained staff will assist you with recovery from illness and injuries in the privacy and comfort of your own home. They also communicate your progress and needs to your physician so that changes in your care can be made as necessary.
Why Home Health Care?
There are many advantages to home health care. To begin with, the patient is treated in the privacy of his or her own home. Being in the home environment can often speed up recovery time. Home care also helps alleviate much of the financial burden placed upon the patient or family by reducing hospitalization costs. But one of the most important advantages is the fact that home care helps keep families together during a time of illness.
Because We Care
Our Home Health Agency is here to make a difficult time as pleasant as possible. Our highly skilled staff provides the kind of care to our patients that we would want ourselves. Compassionate and caring, we aim to treat every patient like a member of our own family.
How Can I Get Home Health Care?
Anyone can request home health care services for a person who is unable to take care of their own medical needs. However, a physician must feel the service is necessary and beneficial for the patient and order the service to be provided. A patient need not be hospitalized in order to be eligible for home health care. If you are interested in finding out more, contact Antelope Valley Home Care or your physician to discuss your needs and how we can help.
