Footprints of the Future
Footprints of the Future, an AVH Foundation program, offers parents,
grandparents, extended family and friends a unique way to commemorate the
birth of a precious baby and, at the same time, support AVH. The arrival of
a baby is a time of great joy and pride, with family eager to share the
news.
For $200, the baby's actual footprint is deeply etched in satin
silver medallions, along with the baby's name and birth date. One medallion
is permanently adhered to the Footprints of the Future wall, located in the
AVH Women and Infants Pavilion across from the Newborn Nursery. The other
beautifully crafted 3-1/8" diameter medallion is kept by the family and
includes an easel for displaying in the home or office. The family medallion
can also be an etched-glass ornament to be used as a sun-catcher or for
holiday decorating. For additional family members (e.g., grandparents) that
wish to have a Footprint medallion, glass-etched or satin silver duplicates
can be obtained for $45 each.
For further information on the
Footprints of the Future Program, call the Family Resource Center at the
Women and Infants Pavilion at (661) 726-6210.
